This Mergstyle whisk was meticulously assembled to portray a Jack-o-lantern. Orange broomcorn was used for the body of the pumpkin, brown broomcorn for the stem, and black broomcorn for the facial features. Surrounded by natural broomcorn for contrast. This broom is a great visual example that shows that Mergstyle brooms are assembled with dyed corn and are not painted, colored, or dyed after assembly. Looking up the bristles, you can make out the bundles that formed the eyes and the nose and mouth. This broom also features a fiber wrap and a peekaboo part to display the color of the dyed broomcorn on the front of the broom.
